In this book, we'll write a Logo interpreter. No external libraries. No regular expressions.
The book is short and you can go through it in a couple of days. It is meant for people who have some programming experience and want to learn how to implement a programming language.
At the end of the book, you'll have made a Logo playground.
This is the book I wish I had to give me an introduction to interpreters.
I wanted something that conveyed that an interpreter is just a program that transforms unstructured input to a structured output, without getting drowned in regular expressions. This book does that. I hope you find it useful!
